Grilled Halibut with Herbs and Pecorino Romano Cheese
It’s ok to add cheese to your fish, when it’s Locatelli. Halibut is a white, flaky fish with a mild taste, but it gets a big burst of flavor when finished off with a sprinkle of our tangy cheese.
- 1 1/2 lbs Halibut fillet
- 1 tsp Thyme finely minced
- 1 tsp Oregano finely minced
- 2 Basil leaves finely minced
- 1/4 cup Locatelli Pecorino Romano Cheese grated
- 4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Coat the halibut with 2 tablespoons olive oil and then add salt and pepper. Place on baking sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until opaque in the center.
Mix the herbs, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spoon herb mixture on top of each fish to cover evenly.
Sprinkle grated Locatelli Pecorino Romano Cheese on top of each fish and pat down lightly to adhere.
Return to the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is crisp.
