Grilled Halibut with Herbs and Pecorino Romano Cheese
It’s ok to add cheese to your fish, when it’s Locatelli. Halibut is a white, flaky fish with a mild taste, but it gets a big burst of flavor when finished off with a sprinkle of our tangy cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs Halibut fillet
- 1 tsp Thyme finely minced
- 1 tsp Oregano finely minced
- 2 Basil leaves finely minced
- 1/4 cup Locatelli Pecorino Romano Cheese grated
- 4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Coat the halibut with 2 tablespoons olive oil and then add salt and pepper. Place on baking sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until opaque in the center.
- Mix the herbs, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spoon herb mixture on top of each fish to cover evenly.
- Sprinkle grated Locatelli Pecorino Romano Cheese on top of each fish and pat down lightly to adhere.
- Return to the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is crisp.
